The Power Management Institute is well set to become a leading institute for meeting the needs of the power sector. In addition to its Training Interventions for the NTPC family as well as other organizations in the power sector, it has also taken up research assignments and consultancy work for various organizations. In recognition of its efforts to become a nodal agency for developing power professionals, the Institute of Directors has honored it with the Golden Peacock Award for the last three years consecutively.

Now that the Company is growing and diversifying beyond thermal power generation, PMI is engaged in building capabilities of the NTPC family members accordingly. In fact, development of competencies at all stages of the value chain is the prime objective of PMI in tune with the Company’s efforts to become a fully integrated power utility.

I am sure various programmes proposed to be conducted at PMI would be very useful, both for internal as well as external customers.
